The Most Thankful Time of the Year....

The sky is grey here in Ohio a bit cold but nothing to uncommon for a fall day. I’m sitting here wondering how it is the end of October. 2020 has been the longest fasted year. THANKFUL that we are making it through.

My little love just told me to go get back to work so I thought I would sit down and write to you. I guess checking on her was silly. Lately, I look at her and think how is this sweet girl going to be four years old. I feel like Josh and I were just getting ready for her to come into this world. I am THANKFUl to have her. Thankful to have been chosen to be this little humans momma.

The last couple days on instagram I had two reposts that I am so THANKFUL for. A fellow quilt shop and designer took the time to share a nice little blurb about my Carmen Quilt pattern and my upcoming fabric line Bubbie’s Buttons and Bloom that is due to ship out in December!

What a nice feeling to have people acknowledge your work! It was just what I needed. Being a creative comes with slumps. I have been in one because i have been doing more paper work and writing than creating. My poor brain is like “Kori way to much output lately”. Do you get that way? I tend to be hard on myself and then shut down? So here I am THANKFUL again for two random acts of kindness to help me get back on track. Back to writing, typing and figuring…. More or less finishing up quilters math and finishing up PATTERNS and then I know my brain will calm and my chest will be able to breath! SOON VERY SOON! So to pay it forward please check out Apron String Quilt Shop and Shannon Fraser with the above links!

I am off to my parents farm in a bit to see some special family from Alabama. Going to make them hot chocolate and social distance outside! The sun is actually coming out. Another thing to be THANKFUL for. I hope that you are enjoying the most Thankful Time of the Year like I am . May the colors of fall bring your heart some warmth. Stay tuned I have some fun things planned for you virtually!

Always Stitch from Your Heart,

Kori
